Scottish Accident Management Firm Are First To Launch Replacement New And Used Car Scheme For Total Loss Claims
Scottish Accident Management and Credit Hire specialists, ACCIDENT CLAIMS SCOTLAND, have criticised Norwich Union’s claim to be the first to launch a total loss vehicle replacement service for new and used cars. ACCIDENT CLAIMS SCOTLAND subsidiary ACS Vehicle Solutions was launched at the beginning of 2007 specifically to provide this type of service, but in a press release just last week, Paul Pancham of Norwich Union claimed that his firm had launched a “unique” service.Managing Director Martin Haggarty stated “As an Accident Management company working with many insurance partners, we had long ago identified the provision of replacement vehicles as a valuable service to our clients. We have been working with one major insurer for over a year now and have recently been approached by two others who are keen to provide a similar scheme. We also provide this service through a network of insurance brokers in addition to our Legal Expenses product. It therefore interested us to see that NU had come up with an almost identical scheme to our own, although they really ought to have done their research before claiming their service to be “unique”. If they had, they would have been able to reap the benefit of such a scheme for well over a year now, benefiting policyholders AND making substantial claims savings into the bargain.
Add to this our credit hire service providing any type of vehicle, mainstream or specialist, a network of approved repairers & recovery experts, a panel of specialist accident claims solicitors, free private medical treatment to injured non-fault accident victims, and a total loss replacement service, we offer an unparalleled package in the marketplace. We firmly believe that if anyone offers a unique service, it is Accident Claims Scotland.
